promote the health of body, mind and spirit. Avocado Essential Oil
Avocado is a rich heavy oil, that is deeply
penetrating and rich in vitamins A and D, lecithin, potassium as well as
vitamin E. The crude Avocado oil is green in color as it still contains
chlorophyll and is classified as a mono-unsaturated oil.
It is often used for dry or mature skins, or people suffering from eczema or psoriasis, and is very useful when treating sun or climate damaged skin that is dehydrated and undernourished as it is said to help with regenerating the skin and softening the tissue. Although it can be used pure, it is in most cases mixed with another carrier oil, such as Almond oil, or Grapeseed oil to make up 10 - 30 % of the carrier mixture BENEFITS OF AVOCADO OIL:
Juniper Essential Oil
Juniper oil is used in aromatherapy to help
stimulate and strengthen the nerves and bolster the spirits in
challenging situations, while helping to relieve urine retention. It is
used for treating rheumatism, arthritis and gout, as well as cellulite,
acne, dermatitis, blocked pores, psoriasis and weeping eczemas.
Oil properties Juniper oil can be extracted from the berries, as well as the needles and wood. We sell the oil extracted from the berries, as it is a more superior essential oil than that extracted from the twigs and needles. It has a fresh, clear but slightly woody aroma, and is a pale oil with a watery viscosity. Uses Juniper oil can help calm the nerves, relieves anxiety, nervous tension and mental exhaustion. It is helpful when the prostate gland is enlarged and is used to help with the inability to pass urine, in cases of cystitis and kidney stones. It is also helpful for cellulite and fluid retention. Juniper oil generally helps with the digestive system, particularly in cases of obesity, over-indulgence of food and premenstrual bloating. For the liver, it has a tonic effect and helps regulate the menstrual cycle and eases painful period pains. It assists with the elimination of uric acid and therefore relieves pain in cases of gout, rheumatism and arthritis. Apart from this, juniper oil is also very effective for acne, eczema, oily skin, weeping eczema, psoriasis and dandruff and alleviates inflammation. Citronella Essential Oil
Although this essential oil has been typecast
as an insect repellant (especially for malaria carrying mosquitoes), it
also has great benefit in clearing the mind, refreshing rooms and for
softening skin, while combating oily skin and sweaty feet.
Origin of Peppermint Oil It is extracted from a hardy grass, native to Sri Lanka and Java. This aromatic perennial grows about 1meter (3 feet) high and is a popular ingredient in wax candles, as an insect repellant, and is also widely used in perfumes, soaps, skin lotions and deodorants. Uses Citronella oil's most useful quality is that of it being an insect repellent. It is best used in a spray, a diffuser or on a cotton ball amongst linen. It is also useful in ridding cats and dogs of fleas. Furthermore, citronella oil helps to clear the mind and has a general toning and tonic effect on the body. It is helpful with colds, flu and minor infections and also has deodorizing qualities. |
